Place in Germany with appeal against the right wing

Right-wing movements and youth groups are becoming increasingly confident in their public appearances and on social media. Now the mayor of the Lusatian town of Spremberg is sounding the alarm. But Spremberg is not an isolated case.

Florian Primig, research assistant in Prof. Dr. Kümpel's Research and Teaching Group, explains on ORF that right-wing topics and narratives are becoming increasingly normal in many (identity) discourses. This makes critical research into right-wing extremism—such as that conducted at our institute—all the more important today.
